I just love your post "Soft Answer", Syphax (and ok, that is not your handle, but if I go back to see how to spell it I will lose my whole train of thought). You have a very kind and understanding way of saying what I would want to say. Except that I would be snotty. Thanks for the explanation using civil discourse. You are so right for your career choice. You don't have to call people jackasses to show that they are jackasses. So very true.

I appreciate the encouragement. I wrote it hopefully to foster a little understanding on both sides. I think Thomism provides a really cool and insightful way of looking at the world, and I think it should take its rightful place alongside modern apologetics. It's just that I think their tone needs to change before that really happens.
